My wife and I just started the Financial Peace University with our church.  The first lesson was quite entertaining.  We met as a small group in a library conference room.

At first, I was a bit apprehensive attending the Financial Peace University because I knew that it would require getting gut level honest with where our money was going and how we really didn’t have control of our money.

It is quite scary to realize that an inanimate object can control your life.  We pretty much live pay check to pay check with a great deal of stress towards the end of the month.

This is not how I envisioned living my life when I first got married.  It is so strange how simple the concept of saving money is and yet it is one of the most difficult tasks to complete in life.
